Nicole Anasenes

Nicole is a seasoned operational executive with over two decades of leadership experience building and transforming businesses. Her roles have spanned substantial areas of the enterprise including finance, investor relations, strategy, M&A, partnerships and enterprise transformation. In addition, she’s scaled HR, legal, market development and customer support functions. She currently serves on the boards of Motorola Solutions, Inc. and Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) as Audit Chair.

Most recently, Anasenes held the position of Chief Financial Officer at ANSYS, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANSS), a leading engineering simulation software company, from March 2021 until February 2024. Prior to that, she was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Squarespace (NYSE: SQSP) from 2016 to 2020, and Chief Financial Officer at Infor from 2013 to 2015. Her career began at IBM (NYSE: IBM), where she spent 11 years in various leadership roles in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and market development .

In addition to her executive roles, Anasenes has served on several corporate boards. She was a board member at ANSYS from July 2018 to December 2020 and at VMware from April 2022 to November 2023 , and as Audit Chair of AntaB.org, a world class non-profit, focused on driving intersectional gender equity in tech.from 2015-2020.

Anasenes holds a bachelor's degree in economics and international business from New York University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania .

Operational Experience

Most recently Nicole served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ansys (NASDAQ: ANSS), a company that offers the most innovative and broadest portfolio of engineering simulation software. Ansys helps customers solve the most complex design challenges and engineer products limited only by imagination. In her role, Nicole led the enterprise operational transformation to take the company to its next level of scale. She led the global finance, corporate development, strategy, global partnerships and digital transformation teams.

Prior to Ansys, she spent 4 years as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Squarespace (NYSE: SQSP), a fast growing software platform that empowers millions of people to share their stories, “sell anything” and create an engaging, stylish online presence.  During her tenure, she drove operational and organizational transformation to support Squarespace’s explosive growth and prepare the company for its initial public offering.

Prior to Squarespace, she was Chief Financial Officer of Infor, one of the largest providers of enterprise applications in the world. During her tenure at Infor, she helped lead the transition of their business model into a SaaS model, which changed the growth trajectory of the company and transformed the way its clients consumed enterprise applications. 

Before joining Infor, she spent 17 years with IBM in various leadership positions in Corporate Finance, M&A and market development. Her roles spanned hardware, software and services and included driving businesses in both mature and emerging markets in both Financial and Operational functions.
